Trillevallens Högfjällshotell is a classic Swedish mountain hotel, with literary history and traditions. This winter is your last chance to experience its traditional and charming mountain hotel atmosphere, at old-fashioned prices, before it is completely refurbished.
The hotel was built in 1938 by Torsten Boberg, a well-known Swedish literary figure. It quickly became popular among skiing and mountain sports enthusiasts, and was a meeting place for the crème de la crème of Swedens authors. Regular guests included Vilhelm Moberg, Harry Martinsson and Ivar-Lo Johansson.
Trillevallens Högfjällshotell has 40 bedrooms with a total of 126 beds, conference facilities for up to 250 people, a restaurant, bar, and lounge, a childrens playroom and a wood-fired sauna. In the morning, all hotel guests get a free lift by snowmobile to the lift system, which has 10 lifts and 22 slopes.
