    Mina Studios Crete Hotel Details

    Check-in: 1400
    Check-out: 1200

Enjoy your vacations at the studios located at Malia, only 100 meters from the sea. Mina Studios allocate 16 rooms, which 14 of them are 3 bed rooms and only 2 of them are 2 bed rooms. There is a pool and a bar to enjoy your drinks. The hotel is waiting for you in order to satisfy your vacations. Malia is the party capital of Crete. There are lots of bars and clubs to suit every taste, and plenty of recognisable brands of fast-food restaurants. But dont let this put you off entirely. Malia has lots to offer couples and families too. There is Crazy Golf, Go-Karting, scooter and quad bike hire, souvenir shops, sports bars, cocktail bars and a lovely sandy beach, with a variety of watersports. Malia is a lively place where there is always something to do and the bars provide a perfect spot to people-watch while you sip on a Frappe or Pina Colada. Besides the tourist character of Malia a visitor could also enjoy a very interesting archeological tour to the Palace of Malia. As the sea breeze moves through the rose bays the dazzling sun rays light the Minoan Palace of Malia, the third most important Minoan site of the Prefecture. The Minoan name for the Palace is not known and it takes its name from a local town. The first palace to be constructed on the site was built around 1900 BCE. Little is known of this palace though some finds from the Old Palace period attest to the wealth of the Old Palace at Malia. This palace was later destroyed, probably by an earthquake. The first attempt to excavate the site was made in 1915 by Joseph Hadzidakis but the full excavation of the Palace and much of the surrounding town was conducted by the French Archaeological School under F. Chapouthier and are still continuing today. Like the other palaces Malia has a west court. The west wing of the Palace, which probably had two storeys, contained magazines, cult rooms and official apartments.

A/C and safe upon extra charge.
