**About**

Eurowings is a subsidiary of the Lufthansa Group and was founded in 1996. It is a low-cost airline headquartered in Dusseldorf. It provides travel to domestic and international network destinations and has its bases at Berlin Tegel Airport, Cologne Bonn Airport, Düsseldorf Airport, Hamburg Airport, Hannover Airport, Munich Airport, Nuremberg Airport, Palma de Mallorca Airport, Salzburg Airport, Stuttgart Airport, and Vienna International Airport.

**Class of travel**

Eurowings provides **only Economy class** cabins with 4 type configuration:

**Basic**: The Basic is a budget fare where passengers can travel with a carry-on bag with personal items with no checked luggage. In heavy boarded flights, the passengers might be requested to check in their carry-on bag. The guests will be able to access priority boarding and also collect points for Boomerang Club and Miles & More while booking the tickets at the Basic Fare.

**Smart**: Smart is a standard fare option which is similar to the Basic fare but additionally allows the passengers to include one checked baggage through their fare. Passengers also earn points for Boomerang Club and Miles & More.

**BIZclass**: It is the premium fare option where the passengers can carry 2 checked baggage and additionally earn points for Boomerang Club, Miles & More and HON Circle miles. Passengers can cancel or modify their tickets hassle-free with no penalty. Guests receive fast track check-in and are expedited security where applicable. The passengers are provided with premium comfortable lie-flat seats in an exclusive area, generous baggage allowance and can enjoy dedicated check-in counters, expedited security, priority boarding and baggage and enjoy a scrumptious meal from the exquisite menu available on board.

**BEST**: This comfort fare option is available only for long distance flights where the guests are offered a generous baggage allowance and can enjoy dedicated check-in counters, expedited security, priority boarding and baggage, wide and comfortable recliner seats. The guests can carry 2 checked- in baggage and reserve a spot for 2 extra carry-on luggage. They are also provided with warm & cold meals along with beverages included in the fare charges. Passengers can cancel or modify their tickets hassle-free with no penalty. Passengers also earn points for Boomerang Club and Miles & More while booking the ticket on their website.

**Baggage Allowance**

Economy class passengers are allowed 8kgs for carry-on and up to 23 kgs for checked-in luggage. Except for the Basic fare option, one checked in luggage is allowed in all the other fare options. **Frequent Flyer Programme**

Miles & More is the frequent flyer programme, which is also Europe's largest frequent flyer programme. Members can earn miles travelling across all Eurowings flights. Members can also enjoy miles while planning holidays, movies, hotels and car rentals.

**In-flight services**

Eurowings offers a wide range of fresh and affordable snacks, meals and alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages for the passengers. In BIZclass, BEST fare, and Smart fare the guests are welcomed with drinks and served finely curated dishes according to the preferences, chosen, which is all inclusive of the fare charges.
Eurowings also offers in-flight magazines, e-magazines, and comprehensive entertainment programme which provides for a wide range of films, games and music for the passengers. The programmes can be modified by the guests according to their preferences and also connect it to their smartphones and tablets.

**Check-in**

Domestic Flights - Passengers can check-in 72 hrs - 40 mins prior to the scheduled departure time.

International Flights - Passengers can check-in online 24 hrs prior to the scheduled departure time for select flights only. Passengers can check in at the airport 3 to 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time for all the flights.

**Onboard support**

Eurowings provides assistance for passengers with special needs. Wheelchairs, airport assistance during check in are provided by on ground staff. **Refund & Cancellation**

Passengers can cancel their booking either through
Eurowings sales’ offices or website. All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee.
