    The air-conditioning was dismal - we set it to the coldest at 16 degrees Celcius but it hardly produced any cool air !

    The staff was fabulous; the sense of history at the hotel was palpable; the location was as central as possible; and the junior deluxe room we had was very large, comfortable, and stylish.
