Not a tourist hotel-but a great hotel

The hotel is located about 4-5 blocks from the main tourist area (Opera House) and the area in between is a little sketchy and I would not walk around after dark but take a taxi to/from the hotel.

Came here from HK where in high October season paid AU$270 for very small room in Novotel and here it cost just over AU$100.

The only bad experience we had was the control of local workers during my stays (July, Sep and Dec 2005), for example one marched right into the ladies dressing room whilst my wife was inside showering.
