The hotel had just gone through a big renovation when we stayed there and it had gone from a 4 star hotel to a rather luxurious 5 star hotel.

We had a colonial room , elegant, comfortable, clean and not noisy, nice bathroom with all luxury amenities The breakfast buffet was served on the roof-top area and was excellent, with a fantastic variety of foods and a fantastic view of the Saigon river.

The Majestic is an elegant early 20th Century French style hotel with old teak floors, large comfortable rooms, marble bathrooms with all facilities and a style of service we are fast loosing in Europe and the USA.
