    Other than the fact the room-grade quality was not consistent, we really enjoyed the location of the hotel (so centrally located for visits to the Old Quarters, and the supermarket a street away) and the breakfast buffet.

    Lovely hotel in the city centre with walking distance to many of the tourist spots and the shopping area.

    The location is as good as any in Hanoi and we walked everywhere--Old Town, Silk Street, around the Lake, Hanoi Hilton , Opera area, and even to the Mauseleum (but took a cab back to hotel) along tree-lined streets with lovely French Colonial houses.

    My husband and i stayed at the Zephyr for five days and found it to be in a good location in the city and park area.
