It's a comtemporary funky style bar & Italian steakhouse , I recommend sitting at the restaurant upstairs to eat as it is more secluded and quieter.

The thing I liked most about the hotel was the palpable sense of history (you could imagine Somerset Maugham lounging around) teamed with stylish up-to-date luxury and peerless service.

As it is very dirty on the streets and you can hardly breath outside, so entering the hotel you immediately forget about extremes of Hanoi and totally immerse in a warm and cosy atmosphere of an old but still fashionable hotel.

The pool was cool but refreshing and while you're lounging there, you can have a foot massage for $25 for 1 hour.
