    Atmosphere is chic but warm, rooms are stylish but comfortable (pillow menu, huge bathroom with double sinks and rainforest shower), grounds are lovely and food options quite acceptable.

    We had one complaint during our stay (the volume of ththe music coming from speakers planted around the pool - bad move as a place like the Intercon should realise they are a hotel first and a trendy bar second), but the complaint was handled very well - the music was turned down within about 10 minutes, a guy came up shortly afterwards to check the sound levvell, and the supervisor followed up later - so they passed that test very well).
