The room was, in a word, disgusting: the curtains were hanging off the rod, there were random pieces of tape stuck to the wall, used make-up sponges stuck to the floor of the bathroom, the towels and sheets were stained, the room had not been vacuumed in days if not weeks, there were bits of plastic wrappers all over the floor, there was barely any hot water AND a 'sanitized for your comfort' strip had been placed across a toilet that was covered in visible (recent) stains and had obviously not been cleaned.

When I checked in I was put in a room that had not yet been cleaned by room service, so I requested another room which appeared clean until I pulled back the covers to get in bed and I noticed that the blanket between the comforter and sheet was dirty with caked on stains.

The location and staff were great!

Towels were so threadbare and faded that they were not able to dry well and room service was very slow.
