Nice local if you don't mind the New York subway experience to get uptown the seaport is great and this location is definitely quieter then mid-town also there are plenty of shops around and we felt very safe walking the streets.

The hotel was near seaport where there was fine shopping like coach and Ann Taylor on cobble stone streets.
