    There was a microwave but the refrigerator was was stocked with very, very expensive beverages, etc.

    The so called city view that I paid extra for is of a wall of a tower block about 10 feet from my (filthy) window.

    When I said that I was not happy the lady on the front desk was very abrupt and told me that there was nothing that she could do as I had booked with expedia and if I had any complaints I had to take it up with expedia not her.

    Breakfast was horrendously busy and we struggled to get a table, eventually sitting at a table with dirty plates left on it, but the food was plentiful and delicious so not all bad.

    Hotel was around £180 a night, not cheap but OK by NY standards for the facilities.
