    Ironically the first thing I have to say is that there is fantastic food available from the Frontier diner, just 50 or so meters on East 39th street, out the door to the left.

    It is dark and awkwardly designed, and the ground-floor restaurant is vacant Perhaps some lively banners, flags, and/or potted plants would liven this rather bleak space.
