Doubletree Suites is not fancy, but it has everything needed for a great stay, and great location, location, location!

Got the premium view (above 20th floor - hotel has 49 floors); very clean and contemporary; nice suite - two full beds, sofa sleeper, great drapes to keep the night lights out; two sinks in a bathroom that's accessible via the living room or the bedroom; two flat screen TVs, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator; extra sink came in handy!

The hotel is not fancy, with very modern decor, but it is quiet despite its proximity to Times Square, and was just perfect for our needs.

The room, itself, was not bad at all - nothing overly luxurious but did the trick.

If you like fancy, then I don't recommend it, but if you like to kick your shoes off and feel at home, then doubletree is perfect!

we had a two room suite on the 38th floor (paid a little extra for premium- totally worth the incredible view of times square and quiet) it was a great size-- fit two adults and four young kids (one with us in the bed, 3 in the pull out)!

We had a king premium room on the 39th floor for only $186 per night (AAA through the hotel website - they did not check my card).

Our 2-room suite (one bedroom + one living room) was a luxurious amount of space for 4 adults in NYC.

The furniture in the room is very nice but not elegant (kind of like our home) which is great if you are bringing children.

If it's a refined, elegant atmosphere you're after, this isn't your best choice, but as a good, solid hotel choice (especially for theater-goers), this is very good value for money.
