    And if you can afford it, go to the River Cafe for dinner under Brooklyn Bridge which is very romantic, classy and has stunning views of the city.

    OK, so the immediate location is unlikely to feature in any romantic movies, but was convenient for us gawking tourists who wanted to explore most of the city on foot.
