It's not fancy, but it's a nice, older hotel in a very convenient location (Hollywood blvd and Highland) with plenty to do and lots of places to eat within walking distance.

If you want luxury in a fancy location this probably isn't the place - but it is good value if you just want a base to explore from.

Highlights: *very polite desk service and maid service----both were helpful, enthusiastic, efficient and polite *rooms are fairly large---our Executive King room had a sitting area and dinette {with fridge} as well as bathroom with adjoining makeup room *rooms clean----our room was kept spotless *television with free premium channels.
