It is very close to Waikiki Beach and there is a convenience store right next to the hotel so you can get basic supplies.

The beach and the largest outdoor mall are 5 min walk away and the downtown Wikiki is a 20 to 30 minute walk either through town or along the boardwalk (definately reccomended).
