The hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was also good with a wide choice of food.

The breakfast was excellent and we would definitley go back to stay as it is in a great location and only 20 min walk into the centre of York.

There were no drinks in the drinks cabinet, pillows are very soft so order firmer ones from Reception.

However, we did have a solid and comfortable night's sleep, so I guess that the Holiday Inn did almost everything we needed it to :o)Our Breakfast experience was solid, and I particularly liked the choice of fresh diced fruit; still a rare enough offering in the UK to feel like a treat.

In fairness, I have to mention that the staff at the hotel and the food service were both excellent.

The Holiday Inn I-80 in York was recommended by family because of the nice accommodations, Applebee’s restaurant and the easy Interstate access to both Lincoln and Geneva.
