The Old Methodist Chapel (1878) has in the past been a chapel offices and a home and has now been lovingly renovated to provide a comfortable and unusual place to enjoy a holiday. Situated only a short drive from Bassenthwaite Lake Skiddaw and Keswick in the Northern Lake District it is perfectly placed to access all that the beautiful Lake District has to offer. The Old Chapel will sleep up to 6 people offering a king size room with en-suite a single/double room with electric tilting bed and wet room and a double and single bunk bed on a mezzanine floor over looking the original chapel room. All our beds are memory foam guaranteeing a great night s sleep. The kitchen is well equipped and also boasts a breakfast bar and sofa so even cooking on your holiday can be a social occasion. The Old Chapel has a beautiful living area with 2 deep and comfy sofas a 36 inch flat screen TV and WiFi. A wood burning stove makes the unique chapel room with its high ceilings and original stained glass windows a warm and cosy place to enjoy evenings with friends and family or a romantic evening for two. The property has disabled access and offers extra disabled facilities such as wet room with underfloor heating rise and recline chair tilting bed adapted dressing table and widened doors. Outside the property is off street parking for up to 3 vehicles and a large garden with patio area with seating and table to enjoy time outside. The garden is well stocked and guests are invited to tend the garden while staying. The garden also has a large vegetable plot fruit trees and green house again guests are encouraged to help themselves to small amounts of fresh produce to enjoy during their stay.
