Hotel prices were very expensive and we wanted our own space.

It was at least 3 times as small and was really dirty with very loud creaky doors, dirty toilet, dirty kitchen appliances etc.

PROS: The apartment was beautiful, well serviced CONS: Security was not great.

Has central heating and double glazed windows in the bedroom only, which was still not enough to keep out the noise from the street of the rather loud general public.

The room was compact, a little drafty around the window area, not the most comfortable of places really, ie: sofa.
