The service is slick and yet friendly from everyone we encountered, the rooms and public areas modern and tasteful ( not always easy in Dubai ) the food and drink good, and being able to use all the facilities at the sister le Royal Meridien ( where we stayed last time in the city ) makes for a perfect combo of a chic city hotel with beach/resort access a few minutes away .

The hotel is luxurious, modern, warm and bedrooms although smaller than some of the other popular 5 star hotels I have stayed in Dubai, are excellently furnished and beds so comfortable and linen so fresh that you almost sink into it.
