The staff was excellent and the restaurant chefs and staff were pleasant and provided a good breakfast and dinner service.

I am a smoker and I asked for a smoking room - but even then the smell in the room was unbearable - if this is the case for me, I can't imagine how it feels for a non-smoker.

The location of the Novotel is perfect if you are transit and want to make a quick visit to see Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world - book in advance online if you want to go to the top by searching atthetop in google) or a wander around Dubai Mall as it is a five minute ride away.
