It is an unbelievable hotel where the rich and the famous rub shoulders, where the business dicussions take place in private rooms, where an average holiday maker would also be treated like the rest.

(I came back from the club and my girlfriend was saying hey there is that famous footballer from the dancing – None other than John Barnes lying on the next bed) There was complimentary bottled water in the rooms so we survived on that during the day (just cooled it in the mini bar).

shopping we visited the famous Mall of Emirates, Wafi Mall and not so famous but our favourite Ibn Battuta Mall and of course the world famous Gold/Diamond Souk.

We did a tour and visited the famous 6 Star Hotel the Burj Arab and i can honestly tell you that i preferred the Royal Meridian.

You will also find the famous Buddha Bar here as well, the bar itself is located just next door to the hotel but is still attached and is still part of the hotel.
