One benefit of the hotel location is that you are only a few minutes walk away from the Marina Walk - a beach front retail/leisure development with a good choice of shops and restaurants.

The Walk which is a new strip with lots of shops, coffee bars, restaurants (great fish and chips shop with a menu to die for).

Taxi's to the Mall of Emirates or the Dubai Mall were very reasonable and Thursday, Friday and Saturday are good days to go as they are open till midnight on these days.

Ski Dubai is there, but overall we preferred the magnificent Dubai Mall and the interesting Dubai Festival City shopping centre.

On the Tower side of the Hotel there is the nearly complete aprtments/shopping complex and this will give you great options for shopping/dining and even walking to Ritz-Carlton other hotels for a drink/meal.

Both hotels have a good range of shops, and we found that the Siddiqis at LRM was cheaper than the MOE when it came to buying a watch.
