In the rooms there was a 42" TV, bathrobes, slippers, posh toiletries, and a spectacular view over The Gulf.

Like last time (we stayed two weeks in this same hotel in November of last year also) we really enjoyed the luxurious surroundings - the three pools, the large, impeccably kept lawns and the beautiful, broad beach.

If you want truly luxurious rooms, try the Jumeirah Beach Hotel or the newly opened Westin hotel but you will not get that experience that that the Le Royal Meridien offers!!

There is a free shuttle between the GH and the LRM with a big fancy Merc dropping us off on the way back.
