The Fairmont is not cheap but as a regular visitor to Dubai I would go back for the quality of the rooms and the effcient service.

Major con is a location on the main street, Nobody respects speed limits in Emirates and street noise at night is high unless you put the aircon on.

The hotel isn't a beach front location but there are two good pools one facing the morning sun and the other the afternoon sun.

Its not a hotel for Children though unlike the other beach hotels where they have more ability to roam around and special facilities for children.

Changed to another room on 12th floor, this room was FILTHY, stained furniture, filthy dirty windows and to cap it off, the bathroom floor was flooded with dirty brown water!
