The hotel is large, with a nice pool area mostly targeted to kids/families (not deep, not suited for swimming) adn direct access to Kata Beach.

The nicest thing about the pool area is the direct access to the beach so you can swim in the sea and the return to the sand free pool area to sunbathe.

Swimming pool is great but you need to secure your sun loungers early as they get snapped up very quickly if the hotel is very busy.

The beach is right on the doorstep and there is a good swimming pool if the surf is too strong.

Kata beach is a great swimming and surfing beach and although there is still some trash present in the water due to the Tsunami, it was still beautiful.
