all part of the experience again There is also quite a big market next to the hotel I would definately recommend this hotel but only to people that would be okay with hiring a car or scooters

About 15 metres to the hotel’s left (south), there is Aroona Karon where you’ll find a couple of convenience stores, choice of cafes/restaurants catering to European and Asian taste and a few massage parlours.

Leaving the hotel, make a right turn and walk for 5 minutes to downtown Karon (lots of shops, bars and restaurants), after passing a canvas-draped shanty shopping area selling drinks, clothing, souvenirs of all sorts and fake namebrand handbags etc (always haggle to get a good price).

We liked the location because, even though we were within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants, this stretch of Karon was a little more quiet which is exactly what we wanted.

If you need anything, just walk out from the hotel and right next to it u can find a convenient store, some restaurants and also the travel agent to book ur excursion trips.
