Room (stayed in the plantation villa) was fantastic - bed linens and towels were clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was clean and fairly spacious and cos it was the v day period, the room was nicely decorated with rose petals and all (romantic!

As a solo traveler I did feel a bit out of place as the resort seemed to be virtually all couples on a romantic holiday (and I seemed to get surprised looks from the staff every time I told them I was just one).

Many thanks to Kimi (Hotel Supervisor) for all of your assistance and also thanks to Asian Trails for a great trip to PhiPhi and Bamboo island and the fantastic Siam Safari elephant trekking I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a peaceful romantic break in the sun, with the option of going into town for the madness of the markets (Karon Beach is best for clothes and watches) Patong Beach (crazy), Karon Beach (not so crazy) and Phuket Town (did not visit) are all about 45 mins away in a taxi for about 1500 baht (£30) rtn, or you could take a tuktuk but you would have to allow longer and get one away from the hotel, as the hotel don't allow them in due to the noise polution they make - very good indeed.
