As all the buildings are similar, we had great difficulty in finding our way back to our room after using one of the hotel's 3 swimming pools or restaurants and even after 2 days, we could not be certain which way was the direct one to a particular place; 12) The breakfast was good, choice plenty but flies were everywhere and it seemed the staff have learnt to live with them as they didn't even attempt to remove the dead ones around the buffet tables; 13) The swimming pools are good and well-protected by a variety of trees; 14) The beach is a short walk from the hotel but do be careful with the bars and restaurants on Nai Yang Beach as most of them don't have running water casting a big question mark on their hygiene; 15) It seems the whole of Nai Yang beach is a no man's land as we saw a number of empty construction sites, desolate hotels with debris and rubbish scattered all over the place; 16) Beware as metered taxis are almost non-existent to tourists, the so-called taxis all have standardised rates which are basically rip-offs; 17) I managed to catch members of the staff doing the over-night roster sleeping on the sofa of the reception and other members playing pool and snooker at the bar!!!

I would recommend getting to the adult only pool early as the sunbeds go quickly here and it is a nice pool with a swim up bar.
