We were met at the airport by hotel staff and transported in a new luxurious mercedes complete with cold towels and water.

After flying on a direct flight from Sydney to Phuket, we were greeted by hotel staff just outside the terminal, and whisked away in a luxurious leather-seat black mercedes van for the 10-minute drive to the hotel.

What is nice is that you can stay somewhere with a luxurious feel and eat and drink there each night if you so wish, but you also have the option to go elsewhere and eat, drink and have massages at more reasonable prices.
