    The food is quite costly but we had the tex mex buffet one evening which cost THB850 ++ pp, but it was amazing food, so much choice, with desserts to die for and coffee & tea included.

    Had several treatments at the spa and the were very expensive considering other top spas in the area, even with discount!

    the room had damp all over the wall behind the bed with a strong smell, so were upgraded to a pool/sea view deluxe room immediately.

    if you are looking to go on any excursions/ days out, the hotel prices are high, you are better off going outside the hotel and bargaining with agents who will give you good deals!

    The onsite spa is ok although as its quite pricey I think a beach massage (worked out at about £3/$5) was much more appealing.

    Patong is very busy and dirty - if you are single or a couple stay in Patong - but if you have a family stay at Karon Beach.
