    Wi-Fi internet was expensive - why should you pay for this when you have already paid a premium price for the room and it is free in cafes and restaurants outside the hotel?

    The whole hotel (set in extensive grounds) is extremely clean and well cared for and has a really luxurious feel.

    Ok, it is not an intimate, small luxury hotel masked to a Thai village: it is really, really big, but it is also perhaps the best hotel I ever have stayed in: the Lotus wing room was elegant and beautiful (and always very well cleaned), the hotel area is amaising with its lakes, pools, waterfalls, fountains and even peacocks.
