Also the water in the shower and sink is completely salty so you won't ever get clean.

I also found the bed and the bathroom to be clean (a few ants around but nothing to panic about!

Overall I would say avoid unless you are a very small step above all the filthy, smelly backpackers that Phi Phi is crawling with.

The real problem with the hotel is that it sits next to the Islands sewage treatment works and has a sewage overflow drain running by the side of the hotel and add to this ponds of stagnant water around the hotel complex and it is easy to understand why the hotel and the island as a whole has a constant smell of sewage in the air and hotel rooms, there were also high levels of mosquitos which we did not experience on the surrounding islands.
