The Banyan Villa should not be open to customers, the hotel is a building site, and the staff are incompetent, rude and and unpleasant.

we booked ahead of time, and was greeted at the pier by a staff member who loaded all of our luggage onto a cart and pushed it to the hotel for us.

Yes the decor in this hotel is a dated, but the location is excellent and staff friendly.
