  1.
The spa is excellent and all of the staff at the Malati restaurant were particularly exceptional giving us lessons in Thai and a very special moment on the beach when we ‘launched’ a hot air balloon full of wishes!

  2.
-The spa staff come by the poolside and offer 5 min complimentary massages in the afternoon.

The hotel spa was beautiful though, we also received a free 15min trial within 2 days of arrival which you must do!

  4.
Massage is available next door at 250 baht for an hour - and up in the village, less than five minutes' walk away, massage parlors and restaurants abound, open until midnight!

  5.
Once we moved to Ao Nang we enjoyed some brilliant massages for a tenth of the Sheraton price and there was lots to see and do.

  1.
The spa is ridiculously expensive (basic massage is 2000 baht) so unless you are keen to spend dollops of money for ambience, go for equally good massages on the beach (250 baht) or in the Plaza next to hotel gates (we got one every day at Rayadee (spelling?

  2.
A two-for-one couples traditional Thai massage for 90 minutes.

And, if you're lucky, you'll even get a complimentary mini massage as you lay by the pool!

However if your on a budget the beach restaurant (hit the beach and turn right) is a great lunch massage and for a lazy evening stop listening to the sea + outside the hotel main entrance turn left 100 yds and then on the road on right 'Pan Sea' restaurant serve Massoman Prawn (sea prawn at least 4 inches long) to die for!!
