    Like some Thai beach resorts , the staff lacks quality customer service training and thus appears either shy or timid.

    You'll find your own favourites, but we found the food at the Royal Tandoor - wonderful, friendly service and lovely Thai and Indian food - and Patjawan's - superb, authentic Thai food - particularly good.
