    The hotel is eco friendly and melts into the backdrop of mountains and palm trees CONS: I did not like the rather surly unsmiling and unfriendly attitude of a number of staff members.

    One night we hired the resort catamaran my wife i enjoyed a romantic candlelite cruise with a staff of 6 to wait on us, i can highly recommend this minor extravangence, during our stay i also took the PADI deep water diving course conducted by the excellent Dave.

    Our room was fantastic with a great view, the staff were excellent, the cliff path to Ao Nang wasn't as bad as some reviews make out but i suppose that's up to peoples own abilities climbing steep steps.
