So if you want romantic, isolated pure heaven go to the centara, if you want to travel, party etc, then find another hotel in the krabi region.

One night we hired the resort catamaran my wife i enjoyed a romantic candlelite cruise with a staff of 6 to wait on us, i can highly recommend this minor extravangence, during our stay i also took the PADI deep water diving course conducted by the excellent Dave.

Centara would be great for a 1 - 2 romantic getaway but thereafter it's remoteness from the real Thailand and life would get irritating!

I would recommend Centara for a romantic getaway, honeymoons, families but not for the aged or infirm and perhaps not for teenagers who would want more than a pool but are not yet old enough to venture off by themselves for the day/night.

We had intended to eat there 3-4 times in our 11 nt stay and have a romantic anniversary dinner but we were put off by other customer’s experiences (average food they felt), the high prices compared to Ao Nang, and the unfriendly service from the staff.
