    Room service was daylight robbery, extremely expensive for poor quality food.

    The restaurants were always willing to adapt their menus to suit our individual requests and the quality of the meals in all restaurants was excellent.

    The buffet breakfast was very nice with a good selection of food, and we loved the sunset bar where we would have a light snack for lunch, and a few drinks watching the sun set, we didn’t however have an evening meal at the resort as we went into Ao Nang, we had no trouble getting on the shuttle and the odd time even walked over the cliff path which is quite an experience, Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our four days stay at the Centara, the staff were very polite and helpful, the resort and the rooms were beautiful and we will hopefully return in the future.

    The checkin only took 10minuts, enough time to fill in the forms and enjoy the free cocktails and food, and it then took 20minuts till we where in the hotel.

    If you want to eat good food you have to go to Ao Nang, moreover you pay for it much less than in the hotel.

    The Thai buffet on the Saturday night was really good, but expect to pay about £25 and the cheapest bottle of wine on the hotel price list is about £22 - for the sort of wine that costs about £6 -£8 here.

    We were part of the club lounge which was worth it as we were taken by golf buggy to and from our villa and the free food and drinks were lovely in the lounge.

    In a nut shell, gorgeous location (if not next to generators) beautiful room, great mini bar, enough sun loungers, great pools, lovely gardens, clean, fantastic breakfasts.
