   As for complaints about the wildlife in the rooms, well the resort is built into the jungle, unless you want your jungle sterile, fauna is part of the deal.

   I am surprised to read some of the negative reviews on this site, perhaps written by some nutter expecting some posh Phuket or Samui style resort, Koh Tao is not about that and I hope it keeps its spirit and does not become a Chaweng style place As for the bugs , I thought they were less here than in Samui or other islands, so again, no idea as to why people complain, use the repellent sold at reception and you should do just fine.

   Big families or couple who looks for a private high end villa may find it overpriced since the stuff is not in so premium grade.
