The food was outstanding but also pricey - i think we paid about £90 for 2 for 3 courses and a bottle of wine.

I wouldn't go back to Koh Samui - Chaweng itself is just horrible, very dirty, very loud and just couldn't wait to get out of the place.

Also pool Villa Number 400 was a bit noisy with staff trolleys and loud airconditioning systems outside when trying to relax by the pool.

In fact, wine is very expensive in Thailand, obviously it is all imported, but we developed instead a taste for Singha beer, which was more thirst quenching in the tropical heat.
