    What the hotel does offer is a resort in a lovely location opposite a clean and well maintained section of beach.

    We also ate at the Italian restaurant that was walking distance from the hotel and had some of the best Pizza Pasta since visiting Italy!!!

    The Ramada Resort is slightly out of town and located right on a very nice beach, so the scene was set for a good end-of-year break.

    Pros - * Really well-laid out resort - obvious a lot of thinking has gone into its design * Great swimming pool * Very friendly and helpful staff * Great location - Khao Lak is just a very relaxing place to be!

    There are a number of hotels within walking distance but the ambience and price didn't even compare to the Ramada but nice for a change if required.
