There was a great international Jazz festival on the beach just in front of the Hotel but all the luxury amenities were maintained just as we had hoped.

THE HOTEL IS IN THE BEST LOCATION RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TOWN BUT STILL IN ITS OWN PRIVATE GARDEN AND BEACH GOOD OVERALL FACILITIES AND BREAKFAST ENJOYED THE STAY OF FIVE DAYS ALL STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND EFFECIENT I WOULD RECOMEND THIS HOTEL WITHOUT ANY HESITATION

This seems to relate to an issue with housekeeping - although the service generally in the hotel is excellent (in particular the staff at the swimming pools and leisure facilities were terrific and especially good with the children) - the chambermaids were a bit lackadaisical, for example forgetting to give us all the towels or the complimentary water, and continuing to do so even when we had reminded them a couple of times.

There is a sense of going back to the life of the wealthy Edwardian travellers, but with all the modern facilities you could wish for.
