    In the other direction (towards Khao Takiab - well worth a visit), lies "Madame Greens" - a superb no-frills fish restaurant frequented almost entirely by Thais (always a good sign).

    the location is a little bit far from the centre if you want to eat in the evenings but if you want to get good food then you have papa john very close it is a place you can recommend the visitors!

    The restaurant was completely disappointing: to make matters worse, the Thai owners family turned up and needed four of the fifteen downstairs tables just to seat them - at least after that we got table cloths on our table.

    It was wonderful to just sit overlooking the sea at breakfast, which had a very good selection of food for all guests.

    The only down side is that the breakfasts are nothing fantastic but the hotel food in general is reasonably priced and quite good.
