the shower was nice and we always had hot water, but why can some hotels never get the slope in the shower right?

The rooms were clean, the laundry service provided to us exceeded our expectations, and the daily breakfast was inclusive of the rate and provided the perfect start to the day's activities (even the juices were freshly squeezed!

Great location, stylish, an oasis of calm, gentle friendly staff, tastefully simple rooms, great pool, however, the restaurant is overpriced and the food is of average quality.

It is NOT your typical sterile western 5 star hotel - agree the water pressure in the showers was not the best, but forgiveable given the other pleasures tamarind village provides.
