This is not a Western style modern hotel, but it was just as comfortable and convenient as the well-appointed high-rises we stayed at elsewhere during our trip.

Great location right in the middle of the old city sites, sunday market was at the hotel doorstep, pool was relaxing and many people just lounging and reading, rooms were clean, comfortable and modern.

We knew that staying here, we may be giving up some of the modern comforts associated with large, modern hotels like the Chiang Mai Sheraton but we did not expect this sort of inconveniences, shoddy room or bad service - and for this we don't recommend this hotel.

Its a modern hotel but they've done an excellent job at keeping it authentically Thai - communal areas are open air, full of local furniture and rooms are concrete floors, exposed woods and tranquil little balconys with orchids looking out onto the gardens Restuarant was being refurbished while we were there, but looks like it'll be a great pool side location once complete later.
