This boutique hotel is charming and the first impression when we entered the lobby was the warmth of the staff who greeted us and the overall coziness of the entrance and lobby.

The staff were helpful and professional, especially considering this is only a small boutique hotel, where often staff are poorly trained.

The second time I stayed here, in late 2006, the experience was the same, except that the currency change and their increased popularity had driven the rates to around $50/nt, which is appropriate by Chiang Mai Standards for a 3-4* boutique hotel, and still a fair (but no longer spectacular) value for this place.
