One of the high lights of our visit was walking around the neighborhood of the hotel which is a historical neighorhood with friendly neighbors and so close to the Ping River preservation houses now turned exquisite art galleries, tasteful shops with high quality arts, home decor items, Thai silk clothing, not your run of the mill junk stuff at all.

There are a lot of temples and many unique oriental design shops for us to look and shop around at good bargaining price as it is now in a low season in Chiang Mai.
