The Colonial style of the hotel is superbly executed and atmospheric and the small but delightful pool area is an oasis of calm- one of the nicest swimming experiences you could wish for.

It is a salt water pool, and I was able to swim in it with completely no chlorine smell on my body or sore eyes afterwards.
